Twin Oaks address is 1253 Main Street North (Route 6), approximately 2.5 miles northeast of Woodbury. Woodbury is 8 miles due West of Waterbury.
Take Interstate I-84 to Exit 15 in Connecticut, Southbury.
Turn LEFT at the end of the ramp, entering Route 6.
Travel approximately 8.5 miles from the traffic light just after the I-84 overpass.
(At approximately 7.5 miles you will pass the "Charcoal Chef" restaurant on the right.)
The entrance to the Nursery is on the LEFT just before the bridge on Route 6.
If you get to the Intersection of Routes 6 and 61 you've gone 0.75 miles too far.
Take Interstate I-84 to Exit 15, Southbury.
Turn RIGHT at the traffic light at the end of the ramp, entering Route 6. From this light, travel approximately 8.5 miles.

If you get to the Intersection of Routes 6 and 61 you've gone 0.75 miles too far.
Use the most convenient route to intersect with Interstate I-84. Follow the appropriate directions from the West or East listed above.
There are two options: the "inland" route and the "shoreline" route.
In general, unless you are traveling through the Metropolitan New York area, the "inland" route is the easier drive.
Take Interstate I-684 North to Exit 9E, Interstate I-84 East, and follow the directions "From the West" listed above.
If you are traveling through the Metropolitan New York area, the "shoreline" route, Interstate I-95, is easier.
At this time, Route 7, Exit 15 off I-95 North, is undergoing renovation. Travel along this corridor is difficult with many delays.
The preferred route at this time is Route 8, Exit 27A off I-95 North.
Exit Route 8 at Exit 38.
Turn LEFT at the end of the exit.
Traveling under Route 8, turn LEFT on to Route 6 West at the second traffic light, by the Dodge and Mazda dealers, heading toward Watertown.
Continue on Route 6 West through Watertown to the intersection of Routes 6 and 61.
Twin Oaks is approximately 0.75 miles PAST the intersection. The entrance is located on the RIGHT just after the bridge on Route 6.
Semi-trailer combination vehicles MUST NOT attempt to enter the paved driveway. The break-over is too steep and will damage the landing-gear on the trailer. Contact someone in the Office or telephone (860) 417-9533 for assistance.
